AMAZING Vintage MCM 1970's S. T. Dupont Gold Plated Lighter

On offer is an amazing Vintage MCM 1970's  S. T. Dupont Gold Plated Lighter.  This was my father's lighter and he likely purchased it in Paris or possibly NYC in the late 1960's or early 1970's.  It has been stored away unused in a climate controlled space for nearly 40 years.  The lighter case is in very good vintage condition, has a couple of tiny dings in the diamonds-mentioned for accuracy only as well as some minor surface scratches on the case including the bottom which would be consistent with age/use.  The interior  has some sort of dirt/residue or something else especially around where the lighter flame would be .  I don't know what it is but I'll assume that with servicing it can be cleaned.  The piece is about 1 7/8" tall.  Stamped S. T Dupont PARIS Made in France 20 u ST Dupont and wings(?) in a box and the serial number which is EP2536.  The lighter has not been tested to see if it is working and as I already mentioned the lighter will need to be serviced.  Image colors may vary from the lighter because of natural light.  Images have not been enhanced or color corrected. Image of underside of lighter 'reads' silver but is actually gold.   Buyer pays .00 shipping/insurance.  Payment is due within 3 days of auctions end.
